Hui Miao
Principal
Hui Miao is a co-founder and Partner of VertCity, LLC and serves as a primary contact for equity investors, lenders, and mortgage & investment brokers. Prior to the formation of VertCity. He was responsible for overall asset underwriting, property acquisitions, capital structuring / financing for the firms development projects as well as VertGroup asset dispositions and refinancing. His expertise lies in managing, renovating and maximizing the operating potential of Retail and Office projects throughout the NY / NJ market and abroad.
Hui has extensive experience in salvaging underperforming properties by increasing occupancy and rental rates. Hui raised a total of $200 million for various projects in NJ, NY, and TX. Hui has been able to boost margins from 20% to over 50% within a year's time.
Hui is also a major shareholder in a publicly traded company, conulted on major projects in prime locations and firms.
In the maintime, Hui founded One Third Holdings Company and has went through 20+ projects of invesment real estate properties with all positive ROI and cap rates in 2021. On May of 2022, he sold One Third to Reits Company for 17 million all cash.
Hui graduated from the New York University Stern Business School with a Bachelor's degree in business management and international trade.
David Lee
David lee is a Partner and General Counsel of VertCity, LLC. David holds various responsibilities within the firm’s portfolio of commercial investments and developments located in the United States. He oversees all legal aspects of VertCity business operations as well as aspects of contract negotiations, acquisition.
Prior to the formation of VertCity. Additionally, David co-founded VertCity Properties, Inc and was a Principal Partner in VertGroup, LLC. David had 8 years wealth advisor experience at top Banking financial corporation.
Dan Chen
Dan Chen is a Partner and chief financial officer of VertCity, LLC. Dan holds various responsibilities within the firm’s portfolio of commercial investments. He oversees all company financial of VertCity business operations as well as aspects of capital structuring, refinancing of the firm’s assets.
Dan also serves as a primary contact for equity Group investors. Prior to the formation of VertCity. Additionally, Dan is financial Partner VertCity Properties, Inc and was a Principal Partner in VertGroup, LLC.
